A vital contributor to Wausau’s nonprofit and business community, John Dudley is a director on the boards of the Alexander Foundation and the Woodson YMCA Foundation. He is a partner with Dudley Investments, president of Tribute Holdings LLC, and president of J.P. Ventures, LLC.

John’s extensive nonprofit board and fundraising experience includes the Boys and Girls Club of the Wausau Area, the United Way of Marathon County, the Neighbor’s Place, the Wausau Chamber Foundation, the Wausau/Marathon County Park Foundation, and Wausau Area Events. He is also a member of Wausau’s Twenty Friends and was senior class president of the Wausau East Class of 1975.

John received his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre/Drama from Lawrence University and his Master of Science in Telecommunications from Indiana University. After graduation, he joined KBIM, in Roswell, New Mexico, and began his career in television broadcasting. John signed on with WSAW-TV in Wausau in 1985, where he was general manager, program manager and national sales manager. John was vice president of Dudley Broadcasting Management, Inc. and president of Dudley Communications, which was sold to the Tribune Company in 1998.

John lives in Mosinee, Wisconsin, with his wife, Amy. He has a son, David, and three daughters: Katherine, Mary, and Margaret. In his spare time, John enjoys the Green Bay Packers, the Wisconsin Badgers, traveling, golfing, and birding.
