Fast Facts on What We Fund

Our mission is to aggressively seek and support community development activities and programs that enrich the lives of people residing in the City of Wausau, Marathon County, and the State of Wisconsin.

Since our inception, we have completed 684 grants and have awarded over $5,700,000

The Foundation meets quarterly on the second Wednesday of September (Q1), December (Q2), March (Q3), and June (Q4) to consider grant requests.

The Dudley Foundation was established in 2000 with an original gift of $5 million from entrepreneur and philanthropist Richard David Dudley. The current asset base of the Dudley Foundation is ~$9,500,000.

Dudley Foundation board members attend educational conferences through the Council on Foundations, Philanthropy Roundtable, and Exponent Philanthropy to maintain a high degree of professionalism and keep abreast of issues impacting the philanthropy field.
